DWG NO. DK-2026-001 CAD DRAFTING FOR LAND SURVEYORS — NATIONWIDE / REMOTE CHK CLOSURE-VERIFIED
SOL-01Site exhibits · solar and storage developers

Lease, easement and permit exhibits for solar and storage projects.

Exhibits drafted in Civil 3D from your survey and parcel data. Lease and option exhibits, access and collection easements, zoning and conditional-use permit exhibits, constraint maps and concept layouts for solar and battery storage sites.

When exhibits are slowing down a lease signing or a county filing, send the parcels. Sheets come back as PDF and DWG, drafted from the survey and title information you provide.

What a lease exhibit looks like

An Exhibit A lease-area exhibit: parent parcel with bearings, the leased area with schematic array rows, the access and collection easements to the point of interconnection, ordinance setbacks, a dwelling setback arc, wetland and floodplain limits, area summary, line table, notes and legend. The sheet below is a sample on a fictitious site, drawn in the same format as a client exhibit, so you can see the deliverable without us publishing anyone's project.

EX-01

Lease & option exhibits

The leased part of the parcel with bearings, area and the parent parcel context, formatted for the lease or option agreement.

EX-02

Easement exhibits

Access roads, collection lines and interconnection routes as easement strips with areas and descriptions.

EX-03

Permit & constraint exhibits

Zoning and conditional-use exhibits with setbacks, wetlands, floodplain and dwelling buffers drawn from the data you provide.

EX-04

Concept layouts

A concept site layout on the survey for early discussions. Array design itself stays in your design software.

02What You Send · What Comes Back

Exhibits that keep a filing moving

Lease, easement and permit exhibits are drafted from your data and checked for consistency, so the set that goes to the county or the landowner reads as one package.

Exhibits drafted from your survey, parcel and title information
Lease, easement and setback geometry labeled with bearings and areas
Wetland, floodplain and buffer limits from the data you send
County exhibit conventions followed for each filing
PDF and DWG delivered, on your title block or ours
Every sheet checked for consistency before delivery
Solar Site Exhibits · Per exhibit
What you send
Survey or parcel data, the lease area, county requirements, and any wetland, floodplain or title files you have.
What comes back
PDF and DWG exhibits ready for the lease, the filing or the review meeting.
Turnaround
A single exhibit in 2 business days. Multi-parcel sets are scheduled with the quote, with rush turnaround available on request.
Revisions
One consolidated revision round is included on each exhibit.
Survey and title
Exhibits are drafted from your survey and title information. Boundaries and legal descriptions are confirmed by your surveyor.
03How It Works

Four stations from parcel data to filed exhibit

The developer workflow, sized for lease and permit exhibits: quote first, one consolidated revision round on each exhibit.

STA 01

Send the parcels

Share the survey or parcel data, the lease area and the county's requirements. One parcel is a good test.

STA 02

Quote

You get a written quote and a schedule for the exhibits, or for a concept layout. Approve it and the work goes on the board.

STA 03

Drafting

Exhibits are drafted in Civil 3D from your data and checked for consistency across the set.

STA 04

Delivery and revision

PDF and DWG come back named your way. One consolidated revision round is included on each exhibit.

04Scope

Drafted from your survey and title information

Every exhibit or set is quoted and scheduled before work begins. The scope below is the same on every sheet.

Scope statement

Exhibits are drafted from your survey and title information. Boundaries and legal descriptions are confirmed by your surveyor. DK Drafting is a drafting service, not a surveying or engineering firm: wetland and floodplain limits are drawn from the data you provide, and array design stays with your design team.

Concept layouts follow the developer package: one concept, a labeled exhibit, PDF and PNG, one consolidated revision round, with the CAD file as an option. See conceptual site plans for developers.

05FAQ

Common questions

What do you need for a lease exhibit?

The parcel survey or GIS parcel data, the lease area (a sketch, KMZ or coordinates), the landowner and parcel references, and the format your lease agreement uses. If you have title work, send it so the exhibit matches.

Can you draft the array layout?

Panel layouts are usually produced in your solar design software, so we draft the exhibits and permit drawings around them: lease areas, easements, setbacks and constraints. A concept layout for early discussions is also available.

Do you draft from GIS data?

Yes. Parcel shapefiles, KMZ files and county GIS exports are brought into Civil 3D as the base. Boundaries and legal descriptions are confirmed by your surveyor before anything is recorded.

Which counties and states do you work in?

Exhibits are drafted to the requirements you provide for each county, nationwide. Send the county's checklist or an accepted example and the sheet follows it.

How fast can you turn a parcel?

A single exhibit in 2 business days. Multi-parcel sets are scheduled with the quote, and rush turnaround is available on request.

Can exhibits be recorded?

Easement exhibits are formatted to county conventions and checked for closure. Your licensed surveyor reviews and seals before recording where the county requires it.

06Project Inquiry
