DWG NO. DK-2026-001 CAD DRAFTING FOR LAND SURVEYORS — NATIONWIDE / REMOTE CHK CLOSURE-VERIFIED
ROW-01Easement exhibits · right-of-way teams

Easement exhibits for right-of-way teams.

Easement and parcel exhibits drafted in Civil 3D, to your standards and your title block. When a project lands with more parcels than your CAD staff can turn, DK Drafting takes the batch.

Right-of-way takes, permanent and temporary easements, and parcel sketches for utility, pipeline, DOT and broadband alignments. One DWG and one PDF per parcel, named your way, drafted for review and seal by your licensed surveyor.

Batches welcome · your title block and CAD standards · DWG + PDF per parcel

What an exhibit looks like

An Exhibit B sketch of description: stationed alignment, existing and proposed right of way, the take and temporary easement hatched, bearings and distances, area summary, line and curve tables, notes and legend. The sheet below is a sample on a fictitious parcel, drawn in the same format as a client exhibit, so you can see the deliverable without us publishing anyone's project.

EX-01

Easement exhibits

Permanent and temporary easements on the parent parcel, hatched and labeled, with the sketch and description formatted the way your county records them.

EX-02

Right-of-way takes

Proposed right-of-way lines from the alignment, station and offset callouts, take and remainder areas, and the TCE alongside.

EX-03

Parcel sketches

Parcel maps and ownership exhibits from deeds and title commitments, with adjoiners, section ties and monument calls.

EX-04

Alignment revisions

Shifted centerlines re-run through every affected parcel. Updated exhibits and areas come back as a set, named your way.

02What You Send · What Comes Back

One exhibit per parcel, in your standards

Batches are the point. Exhibits are drafted to your title block and file naming, delivered in releases so review starts before the batch is finished.

Bearings, distances and curve data labeled to your convention
Area summary: parent tract, take, easement and remainder
Station and offset callouts tied to your alignment

Right-of-Way Exhibits · Per parcel
What you send
The alignment (DWG or shapefile), deeds or title commitments, survey data, your title block and CAD standards, and the parcel list.
What comes back
One DWG and one PDF per parcel, named your way, with the sketch and area summary ready for your legal description and seal.
Turnaround
A single exhibit in 2 business days. Batches are scheduled with the quote and delivered in releases, with rush turnaround available on request.
Standards
Your title block, layer scheme, linetypes, text styles and file naming. If you do not have documented standards, we mirror a past exhibit.
Review and seal
Exhibits are drafted for review and seal by your licensed surveyor. DK Drafting is a drafting service, not a surveying firm.
03How It Works

Four stations from parcel list to sealed exhibit

The same fixed-quote workflow survey firms use with us, sized for batches.

STA 01

Send the parcel list

Share the alignment, parcel list, deeds or title data and your title block. Ask with no files if you just need an idea of scope and schedule.

STA 02

Quote and schedule

You get a written quote and a delivery schedule for the batch. Approve it and the batch goes on the board.

STA 03

Drafting in releases

Exhibits are drafted to your standards and delivered in releases, so review starts before the batch is finished.

STA 04

Review and seal

Your licensed surveyor reviews and seals. Comments come back as one consolidated revision round per release.

04Scope

What we draft, and what stays with your surveyor

Every batch is quoted and scheduled before work begins. The scope below is the same on every exhibit.

Scope statement

Exhibits are drafted for review and seal by your licensed surveyor. DK Drafting is a drafting service, not a surveying firm: we do not set monuments, resolve boundaries or certify descriptions. Descriptions are drafted to match the drawn geometry and checked for closure before delivery.

Revisions: comments from your reviewer come back as one consolidated revision round per release. An alignment change is re-run through the affected parcels and delivered as its own release.

05FAQ

Common questions

What do you need to start a batch?

The alignment file (DWG, or a shapefile we can bring into Civil 3D), the parcel list with owner and deed references, title commitments or deeds, any survey data, and a sample exhibit from your firm so we match your format. A sample DWG with your title block is the fastest way to set standards.

Can you work in our CAD standards and title block?

Yes. Every exhibit is drafted on your title block, layers, linetypes and text styles, and files are named to your convention. The exhibit reads as your firm's work.

Do you write the legal descriptions?

We draft the description to match the sketch geometry and check it for closure, formatted to your county's conventions. Your licensed surveyor reviews, revises as needed, and seals.

How are batches scheduled?

Batches are quoted with a delivery schedule and delivered in releases, so your reviewers see the first parcels while the rest are drafted. Rush turnaround is available; ask when you request the quote.

What happens when the alignment moves?

Send the revised alignment and the list of affected parcels. Those exhibits are re-run and the areas updated, delivered as their own release.

Are you a surveying firm?

No. DK Drafting is a drafting service for surveyors, engineers and right-of-way teams. Exhibits are drafted for review and seal by your licensed surveyor, and everything is delivered white-label under your title block.
